icon #1 tutorial

This is my first tutorial; it's just a simple colouring one :) It will make an icon more blueish and redish. Enjoy!



From the left icon to the right icon. Lets begin


First of all, crop your icon to your preferred size. I cropped it 98x98 pixels.
* Keep in mind that the following textures/gradients are the size of 100x100.


Duplicate your base {Ctrl+J} and set it to screen 100%.


Create a new layer {Ctrl+Shift+N} and fill it with #82ccea; set it to soft light 100%.


Create another layout and fill it with #3394bc; set it to colour burn 100%.


Use the gradient above and set it to lighten 48%.


Now go to Layer>New Adjustment layer>Selective Colour and fill in the following:
Red:
Cyan: 100%
Magenta: 100%
Yellow: -100%
Black: -60%
Yellow:
Cyan: 100%
Magenta: 100%
Yellow: -55%
Black: -77%
Neutrals
Cyan: -64%
Magenta: 8%
Yellow: 16%
Black: 25%


Last step, add the above gradient, set it to screen 100%.


At last, you're done!
